The Regional Hazard Assessment Tool (RHAT) is a dynamic web based mapping and regional
assessment reporting tool developed by North Central Council of Governments (NCTCOG)
Emergency Preparedness (EP) Department and Research and Information (RIS) Department
and is subject to continual updating. The information provided in the RHAT will help
address unmet needs in hazard identification and analysis for emergency preparedness
stakeholders in the North Central Texas region.
The data provided in the RHAT is derived from a variety of public and private sector sources considered
dependable, but the accuracy, completeness and currency thereof are not guaranteed. NCTCOG does not
represent that RHAT is the exclusive source for services of this nature. NCTCOG makes no
warranty, expressed or implied, as to the accuracy, completeness, currency, reliability, or suitability
for any particular purpose of information or data contained in or generated from the RHAT. Additionally,
neither RHAT nor any agent, servant or employee thereof assume any liability associated with the use
